MEET THE KATLA FORCE: Alexandra and Kate

Meet the girls loving the BUTTER hoodie this season. Both recent college graduates living in New York City, Kate is a graphic designer and Alexandra works in TV production. They have been best friends for ages, and fell in love with the idea of wearing matching BUTTER hoodies this autumn. Read a bit about what they had to say regarding friends, fun, and Katla!

What inspires your style?

Kate: Colors that pop and comfort! The little details are always important to me.

Alexandra: My style is inspired by authenticity and definitely activewear. I am an athlete at heart and love a sporty touch!

What is your favorite thing to do at home?

Kate: I'd say online shopping or taking long walks with my black lab Scout.

Alexandra: Lots and lots of movies. I've loved watching a ton of comedies and romantic films.

What are you looking forward to most after quarantine?

Kate: I'm most looking forward to being able to spend time with all of my friends again (I miss hugs).

Alexandra: Last year I did a lot of traveling, and it was incredible. I'm definitely looking forward most to being able to travel again as well as go out and go dancing!

Why are you passionate about sustainability?

Kate: I'm passionate about sustainability because it's so much healthier for people and the planet. There is no denying that sustainable fashion is the future, it's the only way forward. 

Alexandra: It's what will make the world a better place in the long run. Quick trends and fast fashion is exactly what it sounds like- quick. Sustainability means something is built to last, which I really value.

Why is friendship important to you?

Kate: Friendship is so important to me because it's so important to find those who you can constantly build up and love unconditionally. My chosen family is so irreplaceable, and I love them!

Alexandra: My relationships with my friends are so important to me because they're the people in my life that I will always have to lean back on. I can depend on my friends for absolutely everything, and nurturing those relationships is always a priority. 

What is your favorite Katla piece?

Kate: The white BUTTER hoodie of course! They are so comfortable, I'm obsessed!!!

Alexandra: The yellow BUTTER hoodie is definitely my favorite day-to-day piece. I love all of the Katla activewear, too, they're all so comfortable!
