We are launching with a limited edition of 1,000 unique NFTs for sale to the public. To purchase your one of a kind NFT, scan or click the QR code at the top of the page. A digital wallet will be created for you by our technology partners Ivy.Cash. Once you are inside of the wallet scroll down to the purchase NFT section. You can then make a payment with your credit card or with crypto currency.

When you buy an NFT on its own you will not know which NFT you are going to receive until after you have made your purchase. Immediately after your purchase, the NFT will be delivered to you in your wallet. The wallet also contains other information about the world of Katla and the Wonderful Beings.

Once your NFT is minted you can keep it in your Ivy wallet or transfer it to another wallet. It will be tradeable on OpenSea.

When you purchase a hoodie you will know in advance which NFT you are purchasing and the image on the front of the hoodie will match the NFT you receive. You can pay for the hoodie and NFT with a credit card.

Once you receive your hoodie, scan the QR code in the bottom right hand corner of the hoodie to receive your matching NFT into your Ivy wallet. Only the first scan of the QR code will deliver the NFT. Future scans will deliver other content.

Once you have received your NFT, you can keep it in your Ivy wallet or transfer it to another wallet. It will be tradeable on OpenSea.

With the hoodie you will also receive a Digital ID – token of authenticity. It will provide you with information about your hoodie’s journey.

The Wonderful Beings represent strong women of impact who have forged their own path in life. The Wonderful Beings all have a single ear that indicates that they don’t necessarily listen to all the noise around them but have their own sense of true north.

The NFTs feature over 200 attributes, including different hair, accessories, weapons, and gear. Each attribute type was hand painted by the artist and later digitized to create all of the variations.

Hendrikka Waage is an internationally renowned artist and jewelry designer born in Reykjavik, Iceland. Hendrikka began painting her landmark series, “Wonderful Beings,” while studying at the London Academy of Arts. She has received extensive press coverage across several fashion and lifestyle magazines including Vogue, Elle, Glamour, Hello, and the cover of USA Today. She has studied drawing and painting throughout her life, inspired by her late mother who also painted from a very young age.

Her art and designs are influenced by the rich cultural traditions of the countries in which she has worked and lived, including Iceland, India, Japan, the UK and Russia. Her work is dominated by vibrant colors, as Hendrikka believes that rich colors enrich our lives.

15% of initial sales and royalties (after deduction of taxes and fees) and 15% of hoodie sales (net of discounts and returns) will go towards seaweed cultivation efforts in Iceland. This will be done in close collaboration with local innovation center Djupid, and local entrepreneurs at Eldey and Blue Forest.

Amazingly, seaweed captures 20X the amount of carbon dioxide as trees on land.
